THE DISCOVERY OF FOSSILS IN THE AZHI AREA,YUNNAN

  • 摘要: 云南省元江县阿支地区构造十分复杂,出露一套砂、泥质岩和碳酸盐岩,以往资料均划归为中元古界昆阳群大龙口组。通过近期1:5万区调工作,在其中发现了十二个门类生物化石,经鉴定主要为中泥盆世晚期-晚泥盆世早期的分子,依岩性组合特征划分为海口组和宰格组。
    Abstract: In the Azhi area,Yuanjiang county,Yunnan province structure is very complex and thereoutcrops a sequence of arenaceous-argillaceous rocks and carbonate rocks,which was for-merly assigned to the Dalongkou Formation of the Middle protero zoic Kunyang Group.Dur-ing recent 1:50000 regional surveys, fossils organisms of 12 groups were discovered therein,which were identified to be mainly late Middle Devonian to early Late Devonian elements.Onthe basis of the features of lithologic associations,the Haikou Formation and Zaige Formationmay be distinguished.
