FEATURES AND GENESIS OF LENS-NETWORK SYSTEMS IN THE LUOBUSHA OPHIOLITE,TIBET

    • Multi-type and multi-scale lens-network systems in orogen ophioltes have been de-termined by means of detalied structural analysis of the Luobusha ophiolite in Tibet. The au-thor holds that they are the product of deformation and decomposition of inhomogeneousmetamorphosed peridotite produced by partial melting of the mantle in the compres- sionalplastic state of the middle and lower crust during the process of" opening- and- closing" transformation from a taphrogenic sea to orogenic belt and solid emplacment of mafic and ul-tramafic rocks from the upper mantle to upper crust.
