THE LITHOFACIES AND GENETIC TYPES OF ALLUVIAL FANS IN CONTINENTAL RED BASINS—A CASE STUDY OF THE SANDU RED BASIN IN NORTHWESTERN JIANGXI

    • On the basis of the properties, textures and primary structure of deposits,21 sedimentary microfacies types are distinguished in the alluvial fan of the Sandu red basin.According to the spatial associations and genetic relations of different microfacies, the deposits in the basin may be classified into seven genetic types.Of the deposits the channel deposits are subdivided into main channel deposits and distributary channel deposits for the first time.
