ON THE BANXI GROUP IN HUNAN

According to the study of the stratigraphic sequence , chronostratigraphic framework, palaeo-geomagnetism,geochemistry of magmatical rocks-voianic rocks and Sm-Nd isotopes,the authorsconsider that the Banxi Group in Hunan belings to the autochthonousquasi-autdhthonous de-posits of the Qingbaikou on period of Neoproterozoic and is not an aceretunary complex“or”,re-licts of oceanic crust. After the formation of Palaeoproterozoic comtinental crust,there doesn’t ex-ist the developmental stages of the pre-Mesozoic ocean basin.
