Abstract

On the basis of the data of 1:50000 regional geological surveys,the Xinfuzhilu-Bayanhushuo composite granite intrusion may be divided into sequences and units.The authors establish the Bayanhushuo sequence that is composed of the Bayan Obo,Shaligaba and Chaganba units.The Bayanhushuo sequence is duscussed in terms of petrology,petrochemistry and rare earth element and trace element geochemistry.
