CRITERIA FOR THE DETERMINATION OF THE LOCATION OF THE FRONTAL ZONE AND VERGENCE OF MIGRATION OF THE NANCHANG-YIFENG THRUSTNAPPE STRUCTURE

On the basis of the study of the Nanchang-Yifeng thrust nappe structure, the paper discusses the occurrence of klippen in a belt and strong bending of the hanging-wall thrust and also ten criteria for determination of the location of the frontal zone of the thrustnappe structure and macrostructures and microstructures for the identification of the vergence of thrusting. On the basis of the study of the factors for controlling the shearsense structural pattern, the paper emphasizes some problems that attention should be paid to in identifying the vergence of migratienusing small and micro-structures.
