Abstract
The author for the first time collected abundant sporopollen fossils from sandstone and slate of the Buqingshan Group in many, localities of the A’nyemaqen Mountains in the eastern-central part of Qinghai Province. A total of 32 genera and 61 species have been identified, in which spores of pteridophytes exceed pollen of gymnosperms and a certain quantity of elements of acritarchs are contained. The main genera and species in the above-mentioned spores and pollen are all Early Triassic representative elements both at home and abroad. The Buqingshan was originally assigned to the Lower Triassic. According to the new sporo-pollen data, the greater majority of the group should he considered to be the product of Farly Triassic deposition,
