FEATURES OF DUCTILE DEFORMATION OF THE XAR MORON FAULT ZONE NORTH OF CHIFENG,INNER MONGOLIA

Ductile dextral strike slip occurred in the Xar Moron fault zone north of Chifeng,Inner Mongolia,at the end of the Early Permian,forming a ductile deformation zone including the ductile dextral strike slip zone,ductile flaser zone and weak ductile deformation zone.Dynamic and kinetic analyses indicate that the ductile deformation zone is an ordinary shear zone,in which the ductile dextral strike slip zone is mainly of simple shear origin in plan,while the ductile flaser zone is mainly of pure shear origin in plan.
