APPLICATIONS OF REMOTE SENSING IMAGES IN THE STUDY OF LANDSLIDES

All the landslides have their own peculiar expressions on various remote sensing images. This makes it possible to apply remote sensing images to study landslides and draw information concerning disaster occurrence so that the disaster could be prevented. In the paper the author introduces the features of the landslides in southern Gansu on remote sensing images, their interpretation, stability anal- ysis of landslides by use of remote sensing images and interpretation of landslide types.
