SYMBOLS OF LITHOSTRATIGRAPHIC UNITS

The preparation of geological map series by use of lithostratigraphic units requires a series of complete and systematic symbols so as to express mapping units. The authors have worked out a scheme according to their experience and by reference to the data at home and abroad. The concrete application is shown in Table 1"Names and Symbols of Lithostratigxaphic Units of Huailinzui Sheet and the Yinpingshan Area".
