A REVIEW OF TOURIST RESOURCES IN THE CAOKE SCENIC SPOT, SICHUAN PROVINCE

The Caoke scenic spot is located on the south slope of the Gongga Mountain State Key Scenic District, covering an area of about 1000 km2. There, the tourist resources are abundant, colorful and elegant, presenting magnificent, precipitous, grotesque, beautiful and deep and secluded scenes. During geological mapping in 1994, the authors conducted an investigation and evaluation of the scenic spot and found the E’jingxiang mountainclimbing and exploring route and the Lianhua Mountain religious and cultural scenic spot. The authors suggest that the Caoke scenic spot be developed into an ecological tourist district.
