DETERMINATION OF INDOSINIAN GRANITE IN HEILONGJIANG PROVINCE

The long-continued tectouic rejuvenation and polyphase teetono-magmatic activity have brought difficulty in gaining a knowledge of the tectonics of Heilongjiang Province. For many years, it was eonsidered that the granite belonged to the Late Variscan fold belt. Thus people failed to recognize Indosinian granite. In 1985—1987, large numbers of Rb-Sr isoehron age values （186—231 Ma） were obtained, a new advances were achieved in the study of stratigraphy. Then people came to realize that the Indosinian teetono-magmatic rocks do exist in the province. The granitoids formed in this epoch are distributed throughout the province and mostly occur as large or huge batholiths. In this paper the granitoids in the province are assigned to two Indosinian granite belts which lie in the eastern and western parts respectively.
