DISTRIBUTION AND ORIGIN OF N-S-TRENDING BASEMENT STRUCTURAL FEATURES IN EASTERN GUIZHOU

In this paper an attempt is made to gain a knowledge of the following four problems through a study of the distribution of the basement structural features in eastern Guizhou: （1） the degree of control of the generation, Inheritance and development of the structural features in this region on the distribution of superficial structural features and their controlling effects on the distribution of the features of the paleogeographic environments; （2） the controlling effects of the distribution of the features of paleogeographic environments on the changes of land and sea and the distribution of sedimen- tary facies zones; （3）the controlling effects of the distribution of the features of the sedimentary facies zones on the distribution of favourable metallogenic proviuces; （4） the activity and ore-controlling effects of the structural movements of various geologic ages.
