MESOZOIC VOLCANISM AND TECTONIC ENVIRONMENTS IN FUJIAN

    • Large-scale volcanism occurred in the Mesozoic in Fujian. Its development progressed through the Late Triassic-Early Jurassic, Late Jurassic and Cretaceous stages, i. e.: initiation, climax and weakening-decline. Volcanism of the three stages shows different features, and the volcanic rocks formed in the three stages have their own geological, petrological, geochemical and mineralization features, which is closely relatsd to the tectonic environments in which they formed.
