Abstract
The author has discovered Silurian strata yielding graptolites and conodonts and Lower Devonian strata yielding tentaculites and corals. Both display conformable or disconformable contacts and belong to platform-type sediments. So. it is considered that there was no strong Late Caledonian folding in the area.
