ORIGIN OF MERCURY DEPOSITS OF GUIZHOU—FORMATION OF MANTLE （CRACK） EMANATION DEPOSITS

Accroding to the distribution characteristics of mercury and geological data from mercury, deposits of Guizhou, origin of mercury is mainly due to structural activity,and hypergene cnrichment of mercury is not evident. The author considers that the formation mercury deposits of Guizhon depends on deep faults and is related to the mantle-derived naterials.They are controlled by structural layering and their mineralization shows zoral bution.Thus it follows that mereury deposits of Guizhou formed by emanation of mercury along deep faults up to sites favourable to localization of hydrothermal fluids.
