  • There occur continental crust transformation-type granites in eastern Jixi, Which are characterized by sequences of compositional and structural evolution. From the viewpoint of comagmatic evolution and using the method of lithodemic division, the rocks in the eastern part of Jixi are incorporated into the Fulin sequence and Yangxi sequence. On the basis of an analysis of the fabrics of the intrusions, alteration and metamorphism of surrounding rocks, features of deformation and regional structure, this paper puts forward the mechanisms of dike expansion, stoping and diapirism for emplacement of intrusions.
