    Element content and mineral compositions in different sizes of soil in Tongling, Anhui Province

    • The same element has different concentrations in different sizes of soil, and the enrichment of different elements is not the same in the same size of soil in Tongling area of Anhui Province. All elements have the lowest content in -200 mesh. Tests show that different sizes of soil have different mineral compositions. There exists strong positive correlation between minerals of illite and goethite and Cu, Zn, Cd, Pb, As, indicating that illite and goethite can strongly adsorb these elements.
