Geoindicator system of wetland degradation

The wetland degradation investigation geoindicatiors system (CSR model) was established through selecting the cause indicators, state indicators and result indicators based on the analysis of causes, presentation and consequences of wetland degradation. The wetland degradation monitoring geoindicators system (PSR model) was composed of pressure indications, state indicators and response indicators extracted from the impact of wetland degradation on human activities, the status of the impact, and the response of human beings to the impact caused by wetland degradation. The wetland degradation geoindicators system, which was constructed by combining the wetland degradation investigation geoindicatiors system and the wetland degradation monitoring geoindicators system, has great significance in evaluating the eco-environmental change and provides the technical foundation for wetland management, restoration and re-establishment.
