Abstract
In recent years, the evaluation of petroleum prospective has become a hot research topic from the aspect of the relationship between the ancient landform-sedimentary assemblage and the oil reservoir. Aimed at the restoration of ancient landform, the authors put forward a method for building three-dimensional reconstruction model of the ancient landform. Meanwhile, in combination with the GIS technology, 3D stereo model was created by reshaping, tapping and converting data of 2D plane paleographic chart. A series of 3D Jurassic and Triassic landform models were built by this method for Qiangtang terrane, the largest petroleum resource potential region in Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau. Moreover, the paleographic evolution process of this region was analyzed, and the results obtained are of great reference value in the prediction and evaluation of sedimentary mineral resources in this region.
