Metallogenic structural system for Jiaojia gold field and Jiaoxibei gold deposits concentrated areas in Shandong Province, China

    • Gold deposits are under the control of the Sanshandao fracture,Longlai fracture,Zhaoping fracture, and other secondary fractures in eastern Shandong, China. These gold deposits constitute three ore zones and a series of ore fields. The main characteristic of the fractures is NNE strike,S type form, and multiple activities. Altered zone consists of ordinal beresitization cataclasite, beresitization granitic cataclasite, and beresitization granite from major fault. Jiaojia gold field is under the control of the Jiaojia fracture. Jiaojia fracture is listric fault whose top steep and underside gentle in profile. Gold deposits locate at parts of turning point lower of the fracture inclination. Mostly ore body of the gold deposits distribute in footwall of Jiaojia fracture, which preserved in gently fissures of parallel major faults and steep fissures of oblique crossing major fault. The three metallogenic fractures form a large-scale extensional fault between the Linglong granite and Early Precambrian geological body.
