Abstract
Based on data of two major iron deposit types( Luohe style and Longqiao style) in Anhui Luzong, the paper summarized the metallogenic conditions of the porphyry-type iron deposit in this area. Based on the geological, geophysical and geochemical exploration, remote sensing and nature heavy minerals prospecting information, the paper studied the multi-source signs of the iron deposit in this area. The results indicate that Luohe style and Longqiao style respectivley occured in the volcanic rocks of Zhuanqiao Formation in the Late Yanshan period and Zhouchongcun Formation of basement strata of the volcanic basin in Middle Triassic Epoch. The deposits have close relationship with the alkali rich and K rich neutral-basic volcanic rocks, sub-volcanic rocks and basement uplift, basement fracture, and circular structure etc. The mineralization mainly derived from neutral-basic magma and gypsum karst breccia of Zhouchongcun Formation. The apposition of magnetic anomaly and gravity anomaly are the important prospecting signs in this area.
