Near surface geochemical effect for gas reserves of different origins in Huagou area, Dongying, Shandong, China

Great achievement has been obtained in organic origin hydrocarbon gas reserve and inorganic origin CO2 reserve through geochemical technique. A set of effective parameter customized for different kind of gas reserve has been set up, that is based on total hydrocarbon, CO2 with different occurrence, spectral characteristics and carbon isotope of CO2, which has provided reliable geochemical basis for oil and gas exploration.
