Abstract
Geochemical assessment of petroleum resource potential in a basin is one of the strategic problems. This paper focuses on the surface geochemical anomalies , diagnostic hydrocarbon and petroleum characteristic of Tuonamu anticlines. Our results show that Tuonamu anticline is one of the perspective petroleum targets, and surface geochemical exploration can provide important oil and gas information in local assessment of petroleum resource.
