    • A lot of geological data such as field Profile records and logging records need to be analyzed and compared in the sequence stratigraphy and lithofacies palaeogeography study. How to use spatial databases to manage and analyze the geological data is undoubtedly an important means of technology in the sequence stratigraphy and lithofacies palaeogeography study. This article introduced key technologies of spatial databases design, analysis and application to study and draw a lithofacies palaeogeography map of a third sequence based on the Ordos Basin.
