    • Based on the study of correlation between As content in the soil and in the wheat seed in economic region within Huanghuai Plain, Henan Province, this paper has analyzed the data characteristics of As content in the soil and wheat seed, and evaluated the safety of local wheat by using single pollutant evaluation index method, it’s indicated that As content in wheat seed is far below safety standard. This paper also studied the relation between total As content in the soil and that of wheat seed, what’s more, a linear multiple regression model is set up which can be used to deduce the threshold safety As concentration in the soil based on national food quality standard.
