Application of the digital geological survey system in regional geological survey with the focus on the engineering environment

Digital mapping was conducted by using the digital geological survey system in regard to the problem occurring in the engineering geological and environmental geological survey of the first-stage project area of the western route of the south-to-north water diversion project involved in the amendment regional geological survey of the 1∶250000 Aba County Sheet. The paper discusses the feasibility, effectiveness and applicability of the digital geological survey system and preliminarily sets up the flow process and methods of digital regional geological survey with the focus on engineering geological and environmental geological survey.
