Overview of mineral exploration activities in Western Australia, Australia, in 2004-2005

This article introduces the exploration activities of gold, nickel, iron, titanium, zirconium and diamond deposits and achievements obtained in Western Australia during 2004-2005. It briefly describes the mineral exploration expenditures (excluding petroleum exploration), percentages of exploration expenditures of different mineral commodities, drilling, mine land reclamation and environmental protection.
