Abstract
The Qimagou Pb-Zn deposit occurs between onyx siliceous marble and volcanic tuff of the Xiong'er Group. Study of the geology, rock association and mineral assemblage of the deposit indicates that it is a Pb-Zn deposit of hydrothermally modified sedex origin and that its mineralization is mainly related to the Xiong'erain volcanic rocks and volcanic exhalation. This is the first ore deposit of such type found in volcanic rocks of the Xiong'er Group in Henan.
