Abstract
This paper introduces the realization of a 3D geological modeling software based on borehole data in urban areas. The general concept of 3D geological modeling based on borehole data and the methods of processing and management of borehole data and sequence stratification are introduced. The module construction of the software and an example of its application are also introduced. This software realizes the 3D modeling in urban areas based on borehole data, visualization analysis and scientific management based on borehole data and supplies 2D map production and 3D function display. The application of the software in a concrete project also shows that this software is a powerful tool for analyzing the Quaternary structural framework and structural evolution in urban areas by using borehole data.
