New discovery of Devonian conodonts in the Dalongtang area,Gengma ,southwestern Yunnan,and their stratigraphic significance

Plenty of conodonts were discovered in siliceous rock series in Dalongtang area in the east of Gengma ,Yunnan,and two conodont zones are recognized:the Palmatolepis gigas Zone and Palmatolepis triangularis Zone.This conodont-bearing siliceous rock series is Upper Devonian Frasnian-Famennian in age and can be correlated with the Manxin Formation.
