Mineralogical characteristics of the Sanjiazi gold deposit in Qinglong county, Hebei

    • On the basis of studies of the mineralogical characteristics such as thermoluminescence and inclusion homogenization temperatures of quartz, pyroelectricity of pyrite and chemical compositions of gold and silver minerals and finenesses of gold and silver in the Sanjiazi gold deposit, the authors summarize the geological significance in the determination of the genesis of the deposit and mineral exploration and evaluation. Finally the following conclusions are drawn: the Sanjiazi gold deposit is a mesothermal deposit, and although it has undergone erosion to some extent, gold mineralization in its deep part is possibly promising.
