  • The universal software Microsoft Excel has multiple functions such as formula input computation, sequencing and sieving of the data bank, data analysis and table and graph production and can be used in geologic data calculation, table and graph production and statistic analysis. It is really effective for raising the efficiency and quality of regional geological survey work and easy to popularize. Examples are given in this paper to introduce the results and method of its application.
