This paper has summarized methodologies for landslide fatalness zoning. Evaluation system based on comprehensive factor and background factor analysis are set up as well as three zoning modeling methods including comprehensive factors superposition, background factors contribution weight superposition and background factors fuzzy discrimination, relative application and experimental results are also introduced. Moreover, three major problems are also discussed, namely, evaluation index selection, establishment of optimal weight and fatalness classification.
