  • Surface coalbed methane exploration and development technologies in China have gone through probing and innovations for several years.These advanced technologies include coalbed methane technologies such as vertical well completion by casing perforation,sandfracturing with fresh water,sandfracturing with slick water and cavity well completion that were used earlier and recent air drilling,N2 foam fracturing,sandfracturing with VES fracturing fluids and gels(liner gel,crosslink gel etc.),injection of CO2 to enhance single-well coalbed methane production and use of multi-lateral well technology to enhance coalbed methane production and recovery.According to the experience,it is very significant to use coalbed methane technologies suitable to different geological conditions to increase coalbed methane production.
