Geochemical characteristics of the Garuo monzogranite in the Jaggang Xueshan W-Mo(-Bi) district, southwestern Xainza, Xizang, China

Abstract
The mineralization of the Jaggang Xueshan W-Mo(-Bi) deposit was controlled by the Garuo monzogranite. The geochemical study shows that the rock is S-type granite, belonging to the calc-alkaline suite. According to the geochemical characteristics, combined with the evolution of regional magmatism, the rock body occurred in an intracontinental extensional environment after collisional orogeny. The source region has the character of a crust-mantle mixing zone.
