    Prospects of applications of multi-target geochemical survey data in covered areas-Example from relevant results of ecological geo-chemical survey of land in Jiangsu, China

    • Multi-target geochemical survey is a fundamental,commonweal geological survey,and the multi-target geochemical survey in Jiangsu Province is an important component part of this nationwide project and may serve as a representative of this work carried out in covered areas. This paper briefly introduces the basic aspects of the multi-target geochemical survey in Jiangsu,and describes with examples the effects of applications of the multi-target geochemical survey data in tracing the influence of human activities on the natural soil environment,studying constraints of the regional geological setting on the soil environment,giving early-warning of the safety of the soil ecological environment in local areas and guiding the exploitation and utilization of local Se-rich soil resources. At last,the paper discusses problems of applications of the multi-target geochemical survey data in Jiangsu Province and how to further use the multi-target geochemical survey data and puts forward some relevant suggestions.
