  • Geochemical engineering is a new branch of geochemistry.It attracts the attention of geo-chemists,environmentalists,environmental protection agencies and government department because of its cost-effective techniques,highly philosophical principles and huge social and economic benefits.The con-cept and application of geochemical engineering include stabilization,purification and adaptation.The ways of environmental improvement include degradation,neutralization,decay,concentration,dilution,isolation and immobilization which are common geochemical processes in nature.Many common geochemical pro-cesses play a great role in environment improvement and management .
