On the idea and way in modern geological teaching

With the development of market economy and global descent in traditional geological field,geo-logical education is facing a lot of difficulties and some new opportunities.In order to adapt to this change it is necessary to adjust the idea of geological college education,reform the instructive thought ,contents and way of teaching so as to motivate the enthusiasm of student studying geology.The western idea and way in geological teaching enlighten us to certain extent on this subject.
