    THE MICROFLORA OF THE TANGJIAWU AND XIHU FORMATIONS IN ZHEJIANG AND THEIR STRATIGRAPHICAL DIVISION AND CORRELATION

    • 摘要: 对唐家坞组所发现的大量微古植物化石进行了统计、分析和对比,建立唐家坞组Moyeria cabotti—Leiospharidium wenlockia微古植物组合带,该组合带包含14属22种。将唐家坞组时代置于中志留世(温洛克期Wenlockian);西湖组发现的大量微古植物化石含30属70种,经研究对比,提出西湖组时代为晚泥盆世晚期(法门期Famennia)。

       

      Abstract: Through the statistics, analysis and correlation of large amounts of microfossil plants found in the Tangjiawu Formation, the author has established the Moyeria cabotti-Leiospharidium wenlockia assemblage zone of the Tangjiawu Formation. This assemblage zone contains 14 genera and 22 species. The age of the Tangjiawu Formation is assigned to Middle Silurain (Wenlockian). The large amount of microfossil plants found in the Xihu Formation include 30 genera and 70 species. Through study and correlation the author suggerts that the age of the Xihu Formation is late Late Devonian (Famennian).
