Abstract: The concept of ecological geochemistry and properties such as bioavailability,residues in environmental media and long-distance migration of organochlorine pesticides are introduced in this paper. The special methods of sampling and sample preservation,low sampling density,multi-media sampling and analytical technique for samples must be adopted in ecological geochemical survey according to organic geochemical behaviors of organochlorine pesticides in the environment.
