    • 摘要: 同志们：大家盼望已久的第三届全国地层会议终于开会了。这次会议的主要任务是总结20年来中国地层工作的成果或进展；讨论修订《中国地层指南及其说明书》和《中国年代地层表》以及2000—2015年的地层工作和地层学发展规划纲要的建议；协商产生第三届全国地层委员会，并进行学术交流。会期5天。出席这次会议的第二届全国地层委员会委员14人，各专业工作组成员69人和各方面的代表共约300人。原拟邀请国际地层委员会主席和秘书长来参加会议，他们都因国际旅行经费问题难以成行。给台湾、香港的代表也发出了邀请。台湾同胞来信说明因发言材料准…
