Abstract:
This paper deals with the basic features of the pre-Caledonian, CaledonianIndosinian and Yanshanian crusal tectonic evolution of Jiangxi Province. The author considers that in the pre-Caledonian the crustal tectonic evolutions were different in the yangtze region, the Cathaysian region and the Hunan-Jiangxi-Guangdong region. The author discusses in detail the convergence between the yangtze plate and the South China plate the formation of the Caledonian fold belt. It is believed that the convergence between the two plates was completee in the Indosinian.
