Abstract: Through sorting stratigraphic units of Fujian province,it is proposed that 17 new lithostratigraphic units be established except for the Quaternary, of which 15 are formal formation-rank units and 2 are formal member-rank units.From older to younger they are the Taoxi Rock formation , Baoshi Formation,Huangtan Formation,Pandi Formation,Sanxizhai Formation,Longtou Formation,Yanya Formation,Qingying Formation,Quanshang Forma-tion,Luokeng Formation,Ezhai Formation,Chishui Formation,Huangkeng Formation,Zhuxia Formation,Chong’- an Formation,Shibixi Mudstone Member and Lantian Limestone Member.
