冀北地区陆相玄武质淬碎碎屑岩的特征及成因
FEATURES AND GENESIS OF TERRESTRIAL BASALTIC VITROCLASTIC ROCKS IN NORTHERN HEBEI

摘要: 本文介绍了冀北地区早白垩世大北沟组中玄武质淬碎碎屑岩的特征,认为该类岩石的玻璃化程度较高,胶结物以碳酸盐岩、绿泥石及铁质等为主,它的氧化系数低于正常玄武岩。其产出情况在岩层底部为玄武质淬碎集块岩和淬碎角砾岩,往上淬碎程度减弱,形成球状、枕状玄武岩,再向上则过渡为正常的玄武岩。淬碎程度主要是受水体的深度和温度、熔岩流的规模与补给量的大小、熔岩流动速度及熔浆内挥发组分多少等因素的影响。Abstract: This paper introduces the petrological features of basaltic vitroclastic rock in the Early Cretaceous Dabeigou Formation in northern Hebei. The rock is higkly vitrified and the cements are dominated by carbonates, chlorite and ferruginous material. Its oxidation coefficient is lower than that of normal basalt. At the base of the formation there occur basaltic vitriclastic agglomerate and vitroclastic breccia; upward vitroclastation weakens, forming ball and pillow basalt; still upward the rock grades to normal basalt. The vitroclastic degree depends upon the depth and temperature of waters, the magnitude and replenishment amount of lava flow, velocity of lava flowage and the amount of volatile components in molten magma.
