利用硅质岩中的牙形石确定蛇绿岩的时代——对哈萨克斯坦蛇绿岩考察体会

摘要: 本文对哈萨克斯坦共和国境内的13条蛇绿岩带的岩石组合、产出地质背景、规模及其延伸方向等作了简要的介绍。在这些蛇绿岩带的硅质岩及碧玉岩中,现已采获较丰富的牙形石化石资料,查明蛇绿岩形成时代大部分为寒武纪—中奥陶世,个别属于中奥陶世—晚泥盆世。上述研究方法及其成果,对我们是一个有益的启发。在我国蛇绿岩带中同样存在着硅质岩和碧玉岩,今后应重视与加强牙形石的研究工作,以便把我国蛇绿岩的研究提高到一个新的水平。Abstract: This paper gives a brief introduction to the rock associations, geological settings, extent and direction of 13 ophiolite belts in the Republic cf Kazakhstan. Abundant conodont fossils have been collected from siliceous rocks and jnsper rocks in these ophiolite belts. It has been ascertained that the age of the ophiolites is mostly Cambrian-Middle Ordovician and exceptionally Middle Ordovician-Late Devonian. The above research method and results give us a useful enlightenment. Likewise siliceous rocks and jasper rocks exist in Paleozoic ophiolite belts of China, but the study of conodonts just begins. In the future attention should be paid to this study so as to raise the level of study of the age of ophiolite of China.
