Abstract: This paper summarizes the applications of several regularities abstracted by the geomechanical method from the practice in many aspects of regional geological and mineral investigations. Through a few typical case histories, the author expounds that the geomechanical method has guiding significance and vast prospects for regional geological and mineral surveys and mineral exploration.
