对上盘翼龙化石赋存层位和隶属时代的探讨

THE HORIZON OF OCCURRENCE OF PTEROSAUR FOSSILS IN SHANGPAN AND THEIR AGE

Abstract: The horizon of occurrence of pterosaur fossils in Shangpan, Linhai, Zhejiang, is the Tangshang Formation. The Tangshang Formation is not the product of the facies change of the Chaochuan Formation, which has been confirmed by the data from the Lishui composite basin. The Tangshang Formation overlies the Fangvan Formation unconformably. Its age was originally assigned to Late Cretaceous, and is now assigned to late Late Cretaceous. The Tangshang and Laijia Formations are controlled by the "Jindu-type" basin. The stratigraphic horizon of the Zhongzai Formation (Formation 1 and 2 of the original Qujiang Group)in the Jinqu basin is equivalent to that of the Tangshang Formation though there are less interbeds of volcanic rocks in the former. Chilantaisaurus zheziangensis contained in the Zhongzai Formation and pterosaurs in the Tangshan Formation of the Xiaoxiong basin belong to organisms of the same period of time. The unconformity between the Tangshan Formation and the Fangyan Formation represents an extensive crustal movement, which affected some areas of Jiangxi and Fujian. The movement took place between the middle-late Early Cretaceous and late Early Cretaceous rather than after the end of the Early Cretaceoous.
