Abstract: The Foziling Group is one of the widespread stratigraphic units in northern Huaiyang,Themain rock types of the group are arkosite,fine-grained quartzite,glaucophane-bearing quartzschist,and quartz-bearing dolomitic marble. The metamorphic age of the group is 378±24 Ma.The metamorphic minerals include glaucophane,garnet, biotite and muscovite. The metamor-phic temperature calculated with the garnet-biotite mineral pair is about 520℃ and the pressureis 0.3 0.5 GPa.
