Abstract:
The boundary fault of the Dashuigou thrust detachment slice on the eastern margin of the Songpan Garze orogenic belt is a ductile shear zone, which was thrust over the Yangtze continental block in the process of Mesozoic collision orogeny. The slice underwent three phases of deformation metamorphism, i.e. Late Permian rifting metamorphism, terminal Late Triassic to early Middle Jurassic decoupling constriction dynamothermal metamorphism and Late Jurassic thermal doming contact metamorphism, of which the last two had more profound influence. They resulted in the formation of thermal dome structure, accompanied by the formation of tellurium deposits.
